Delete Your Account

You can delete your One Sudoku account and everything stored with it at any time. Here are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — Delete it in the app

The fastest way. Your account is removed immediately.

  1. Open One Sudoku on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
  2. Make sure you are signed in to the account you want to delete.
  3. Go to Settings (the gear icon) → Account.
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

You may be asked to sign in again first — this is a security step to confirm the account is yours.

Option 2 — Ask us by email

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete it for you.

Send an email with the subject "Account Deletion Request" from the email address you signed up with.

Request deletion by email

If you signed in with Apple using "Hide My Email", send your request from that private relay address, or include the relay address in your message so we can locate your account.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Your account record — email address, display name, sign-in provider, and account identifier
  • All game data synced to our servers — progress, statistics, streaks, and completed puzzles

What is not affected:

  • Game data stored locally on your device. To clear it, use Settings → Reset All Progress in the app, or uninstall the app.
  • Aggregated, pseudonymous analytics that is not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to you.

How long it takes

Deleting your account in the app takes effect immediately. Email requests are confirmed within 30 days, and usually within 1–2 business days. Copies held in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.

Account deletion cannot be undone. Once your synced progress is gone, we cannot restore it. If you only want to stop syncing, sign out instead of deleting — your account and its data will stay intact.
